At Hope Church, Home Groups will be the primary vehicle for community, discipleship, missions, and leadership development. As we do life together centered around God's Word, we are changed and become agents of change in others. We believe this change in us happens well in smaller community, and nothing helps us let our guard down like being in homes. It is also within Groups that Biblical community is fleshed out on a daily basis. Members of a Group meet the physical needs of each other, minister to each other spiritually, help carry others' burdens and share in the joys of life together.
We hope this leads toward deep discipleship and accountability that marks each of our walks with Christ. We also hope this helps us do missions straight out of our homes – which is what we long to mark our everyday lives – that we are passionate about bringing the gospel to those who don't know Jesus.
